1. Bed Structure
The machine bed features an integral floor-mounted design and is internally reinforced with a dense network of highly stable triangular stiffening ribs, ensuring excellent torsional rigidity and dimensional stability. The guideway cross-sectional width is 480 mm.
2. Spindle Box
The spindle headstock is available in four models—66B, 66C, 66H, and 66S—to meet diverse machining requirements.
3. Bed saddle and lower tool post
The bed saddle and lower tool post have been optimally designed to accommodate the machine bed’s guideway cross-section, which spans up to 480 mm. The increased length of the bed saddle enhances torsional rigidity, while additional pressure plates have been incorporated into the lower portion of the bed saddle to effectively counteract the deflection torque generated during Z-axis motion following the extension of the bed saddle. This improvement not only boosts the accuracy of the bed saddle’s Z-axis movement but also enhances the machine tool’s resistance to vibration during intermittent cutting operations.
4. Tailstock
The tailstock has been reinforced to meet the vibration resistance requirements for machining long-axis workpieces and the load-bearing capacity requirements for heavy-duty machining. In addition, the front end of the tailstock body has been extended along the sleeve’s projection, which helps reduce the sleeve’s overhang during operation and thereby enhances cutting stability.
