The bed is made of boron-alloyed high-strength cast iron, with guideways subjected to ultrasonic-frequency quenching and precision grinding, followed by manual scraping and lapping prior to final assembly, ensuring excellent wear resistance and high precision.
The bed and bed legs are made by resin-bonded sand casting and subjected to aging treatment; the guideways are hardened by ultra-high-frequency quenching, and the carriage is fitted with plastic strips.
The machine tool’s main structural components are rationally designed with scientifically optimized reinforcement, providing excellent resistance to seismic activity, bending, and torsion. All parts are manufactured from high-grade, premium-quality Yunnan cast iron using an advanced full-resin-bonded sand casting process, which significantly enhances the machine tool’s precision and stability, making it well-suited for long-term, high-intensity, high-precision machining.
The X and Y axes are supported by high-speed linear guides, which reduce frictional resistance and noise, enabling a rapid traverse speed of 24 m/min. The Z axis employs a sliding guide structure to ensure rigidity of the machine tool’s tool holder and spindle.
The spindle is equipped with precision bearings specially designed for machine tool spindles, featuring an “NN+BTM front-end and NN rear-end” configuration. This typical heavy-cutting, heavy-load spindle design offers high rigidity, excellent precision, superior resistance to intermittent cutting and impact, and exceptional durability, making it highly acclaimed and widely adopted in the lathe industry.
Four-speed gear transmission and a heavy-duty spindle design deliver a wide range of spindle speeds and cutting forces, enabling the machining of parts made from various materials and in diverse shapes, with an extensive processing capability.
